Day 1
The first day of the Citizens' Assembly "Germany's Role in the World" was dedicated to getting to know each other. The moderators Christine von Blanckenburg (nexus), Jacob Birkenhäger (ifok) and Jascha Rohr (IPG) explained how the Citizens' Assembly came about and how it functions. In small groups, there was an interactive discussion of the term "role" and an exchange of ideas in the plenary session. The three-hour evening ended with an outlook on the further course of the Citizens' Assembly.
