Citizens’ Assembly on Foreign Policy – Dates and Images for Media

On January, 13th the citizens' assembly "Germany's Role in the World" will start under the patronage of Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble. Until February 20, citizens selected by lot will work out recommendations in a total of 10 sessions on the topics of peace and security, economy and trade, the European Union, sustainable development, democracy, and the rule of law.

The citizens' assembly will take place entirely online. The moderators and some of the experts, on the other hand, will meet in a specially equipped studio at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, in compliance with Corona measures. The media has the opportunity to follow the citizens' assembly meetings online and offline as the studio is suitable for sound and film recordings.
