Review of the Citizens' Assembly

The Citizens' Assembly "Germany's Role in the World" took place from 13 January to 20 February 2021. 160 randomly drawn people from all over Germany spent ten days online discussing German foreign policy and developing recommendations on it. These were handed over to Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble and the parliamentary groups on 19 March 2021.

In an online event on 24 March 2021, the initiators looked back on the Citizens' Assembly. Once again, they explained how it came about and how it proceeded. They reported on the results and looked ahead to the possibilities of implementation.
